ETL Integrations Architect

To make our learning solutions effective and to provide a seamless technology experience to internal and external teams, we are hiring an ETL Integrations Architect, responsible for developing enterprise-grade, high-performance integrations using Informatica suite of tools including PowerCenter and Informatica IICS and other listed technologies.

As an ETL Integration Architect, you will be responsible for the assessment of business requirements, collection, identification, and approval of technical specifications, and subsequent development of technology solutions in the integration space.

You will design solutions in accordance with architectural standards, creating and maintaining roadmaps to address gaps and move the domain towards future architecture while developing technology specifications and ensuring that new technology solutions are designed for optimal access and usefulness.

What you will do:

  • Lead, facilitate and execute system integration initiatives, including the design and implementation of an Enterprise Integration software solution that serves as the conduit for data flow between all core business systems.
  • Define and implement a set of processes that ensures that all system integration points are formally managed throughout the enterprise.
  • Manage the process of detailing new or modifications to existing Integrations, translate requirements between business and technical partners, and facilitate the prioritization and implementation of the Integration
  • Resolve existing and prevent future issues with system integrations so that the enterprise can become more efficient
  • Implement appropriate quality control disciplines for managing, monitoring, auditing, logging, and resolving issues related to the integration solution and its components.
  • Develop and maintain documentation in relation to the integration of software solutions including change control and release management procedures.
  • Lead quality reviews concerning integration or custom development activities.
  • Seek out opportunities for continuous process improvement, to include benchmarking other companies, user groups, and software tools to improve speed & accuracy of system integration processes.

What can you bring to the role?

  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience in information technology with a focus on developing and delivering integration solutions to meet business objectives
  • Minimum of 5+ years of technical solution architecture experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years in Informatica Power center and 2+ years in Informatica IICS.
  • Minimum 2+ years in one or all these Informatica products (IDQ) Integrations Data Quality and (CDQ) Cloud Data quality, (CDC) Cloud Data Catalog.
  • Strong PLSQL and Oracle database skills 5 + years' experience
  • Experience in developing enterprise grade, high performance web integrations using J2EE and open-source technologies and scripting tools such as Python.
  • Strong understanding and experience in application development life-cycle i.e. waterfall, Agile
  • Experience in one or more of the following enterprise-class applications and integration technologies is preferred: Oracle SOA Suite, Oracle eBusiness Suite,, Business Objects, Tableau, Cognos TM1, Oracle Product Data Hub,
  • Proven ability to define, implement and maintain world class business systems architectures while collaborating with cross-departmental teams with strong leadership, interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Required Skills : Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, Scripting experience (Python preferred), strong oracle database experience, and knowledge of SAS

Notes :100% remote. We are meeting with this manager on Wednesday 9/14 at 4PM EST. It is a 3 iv process, will meet with manager, then architect, then CTO. We are looking for a strong ETL Architect as they will be leading the charge on moving them to the cloud. Converting all PowerCenter to IICS. Will be doing the design work, code reviews, documentation, and making sure that everything that is being built is being built correctly.
