ETL Developer with minimum of 5 yrs of experience in Informatica ETL tool. Strong Database skills in Oracle & SQL Server. Powershell script knowledge is preferred.
Developer is responsible for handling FL data management requests ie loading Payor files into SQL Server environment. Support the application ie FL Landing, CIE, Conformed Layer developmet, develop/modify informatica, SQL Server/oracle/Powershell scripts. Knowledge of Informatica B2B is a plus.
The ETL Developer is responsible for supporting the information management architecture of the Enterprise Data Warehouse. This role is responsible for extracting, transforming and loading data into data staging, and the data warehouse. This role will work closely with the data architect, data modeler, data analysts and other project team members to understand requirements regarding ETL design flows and data integration. They will collaborate on definition, development, and maintenance of standards and processes. The ETL Developer will develop ETL solutions following the well-defined data warehouse design and development best practices. Position reports to Technical Lead Florida Data Management. Consistently exhibit behavior and communication skills that demonstrate DaVita Healthcare Partners’ commitment to superior customer service, including quality, care and concern with each and every internal and external customer. Meet with business and technical teams to discuss functional design concepts and alternatives necessary to meet requirements. Optimize, develop and maintain data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter to connect legacy data stores, the data warehouse, and third-party platforms. Develop and deploy ETL job workflows with reliable error/exception handling and rollback. Take responsibility for data quality. Understand the implications of technology and process changes on data quality; provide guidance to business and IT related to data quality. Recommend processes and technologies that support high data quality. Review Source to Target Mappings to create ETL processes and crosswalks. Help define acceptance test objectives, test cases and assist in system and integration testing. Assist in evaluating software change requests, which may involve conducting root cause analysis to confirm business need for changes and alternatives. Work closely with end-users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and document issues and defects. Partner with IT and Business teams to capture, track, and resolve data and reporting issues. Use, protect, and disclose DaVita HCP patients’ protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
Skills:
ETL development experience using Informatica Power Center. Working knowledge in a Data Warehouse/BI environment. SQL Server database experience. Working knowledge of Healthcare claims and clinical data. Understanding of Medical group business areas (clinical, operations, care management Strong SQL skills and full understanding of querying relational and dimensional databases. Experience reading detailed requirements, source to target mappings, design documents, and workflows in support of data warehousing and BI. Experience with Windows PowerShell scripting. Experience with ActiveBatch a plus. Ability to extract and transform data from multiple data sources. Experience with Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. Driven by a fast-paced, energetic, results-oriented environment. Ability to work with data warehouse and BI developers in formulating recommendations, strategies, and tactics based on analyses. Must be a self-starter and able to work independently or lead teammates as needed. Ability to build trust and create a strong working relationship with the data warehouse team and business customers. Must have excellent listening and documentation skills. Demonstrated self-direction with excellent organizational, analytical, writing, problem solving and interpersonal skills.
