ETL ARCHITECT JOB
Remote, Work From Home - Truist Financial – Corp2Corp

Rate: $60/hr on C2C – Fixed and non-negotiable

CLIENT NOTES: Looking for a strong ETL architect with primary skill around data stage, along with reporting tools, knowledge around cloud and open source technologies.

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
1. 10 – 12 years of focused ETL work/experience. Someone who broadly understands ETL across multiple ETL like products to detail the pro’s and con’s, developing a roadmap to lead us to better overall strategy and solutions; Someone to look at the current footprint and make recommendations; Currently following technologies are in this Domainwith Theclient’s ecosystem: IBM® InfoSphere DataStage - Extract, Transfer & Load Data, Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Informatica, MarkLogic – Extract, Load, Transfer, SSIS, DataStage, DataPower, Information Server – (data governance tools)
2. Experience running these types of systems in production for tier 1 workloads; Explain high availability approaches, develop pattern and approach for Client; Explain disaster recovery approaches, develop pattern and approach for Client; Explain code promotion processes, develop pattern and approach for Client ; Experience in coding and administration of products; Develop and define what falls into coding vs Admin roles; Develop an approach to roles and responsibilities, developing RACI, strong support models; Describe framework for SSIS, develop pattern and approach for Client
3. Develop pattern and approach for Client, determine when it is appropriate to use which tool and/or technique? Enhance code review process, define outcomes and value adds, increase productivity, speed to market and quality; Develop and approach and standardize that IT owns/does vs business users; Experience in with this technology in a cloud environment ; Describe when to use a new tech vs old, balance need; Develop an approach for how many tools should be supported in a cloud environment at once? When to standardize, and support with Pros/Cons to help make good business decisions.

Data Movement Project Priorities for 2020-2021:
1. Reporting for Accelerate Product and State (in the cloud); PCDS, Claims SSIS sunset as CCDS comes online
2. ASR V2; CSR V2; CSR Data Stewardship; Design/code reviews of any portfolio needs per roadmap/other projects
3. Capacity and contention on the Datastage Server – roadmap/sizing/capacity in Non-Prod and Prod; Scheduling jobs
