Job Title : ERP Configuration Analyst (ONSITE)

Location : Tallahassee FL

Client : State of Florida (Department of Transportation)

Duration : 12-24 Months Contract

ONSITE From Day One

Position performs functional analysis, requirements, definition and ERP module configuration and testing. Responsible for conducting prototypes, developing functional specifications, data mapping, function mapping, setting of configuration tables and setting of transaction/control tables.

 

Skills

 

  • 5+ years of IT work experience in systems/applications development or support functions.
  • Skill in the use of ERP business solutions and configuration of multiple ERP modules, such as Oracle® PeopleSoft’s financial management software.
  • Knowledge of ERP financial related modules and interfacing methodologies.
  • Experience working on accounting and financial computing applications and monitoring complex interfaces with external systems.
  • Experience assisting users with business process changes and improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to produce legible and complete functional documentation in a way that thoroughly captures business processes and inputs/outputs of applications.
  • Ability to analyze and accurately and completely define processes and workflows to design efficient information solutions, including missing or duplicate functionality in existing applications.
  • Knowledge of relational database theories and concepts.
  • Skill in data conversion techniques, data cleansing approaches and validating data relationships.
  • Ability to work effectively with users and a project team, to identify and document requirements for the development or remediation of computer systems, including technical overviews and context

diagrams.

  • Ability to develop and manage information systems documentation in accordance with the Department’s standards.
  • Skill in testing complex applications and interpreting whether requirements and design were met in the product.
  • Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, and prioritize work assignments for him/herself or lower-level analysts.
  • Ability to work effectively with Project Managers, Business Analysts, Data Analysts, and Technical Architects to build efficient, viable solutions in the remediation of business applications utilizing all established departmental standards.
  • Ability to prepare test plans.
  • Ability to interpret and communicate technical information technical and non-technical users, both verbally and in writing.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
