Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Specialist Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing large-scale data environments, ensuring data integrity, and enabling enterprise-level data solutions. This role requires both technical leadership and hands-on expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing enterprise data systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise data solutions, including data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

  • Ensure data governance, quality, security, and compliance standards are met across all enterprise data initiatives.

  • Develop and enforce data management best practices, including metadata management, master data management (MDM), and data lifecycle management.

  • Mentor and provide guidance to junior data engineers and analysts.

  • Optimize and troubleshoot ETL/ELT processes, database performance, and data integration workflows.

  • Work closely with IT, analytics, and business teams to support reporting, analytics, and AI/ML initiatives.

  • Stay updated with emerging data technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.

  • Drive enterprise data strategy and participate in technology roadmap planning.Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 12+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or enterprise data management.

  • Strong expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.

  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, DataStage, Apache Nifi).

  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (Python, Shell, or Java).

  • Experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).

  • Solid understanding of data governance, security, and compliance requirements.

  • Proven experience leading technical teams and managing enterprise-scale projects.

Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.

  • Knowledge of BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

  • Familiarity with AI/ML data pipelines and analytics frameworks.

  • Experience with master data management (MDM) and data quality tools.

  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
