Location: St Hopkinton MA
Duration: 9 plus months
Candidates must be W2 and will work onsite.
Performs design characterization on all Product Group products. Analyzes characterizations for violations of known specifications, potential violations and overall signal integrity. Proposes and or implements fixes for any known violations. Troubleshoots and repairs systems to the component level. Sets up, configures and tests prototype systems and software. Assembles and disassembles prototype systems as necessary. Researches and learns new technologies and procedures to remain current with industry standards and new products. Sets up and operates calibrates electronic test equipment, and verifies its working condition maintains its working condition.
Day to Day:
Develops debugging interfaces for test equipment. Makes some recommendations for resolution. Has an understanding of test results. Works with greater autonomy, but still requires regular guidance.
Requirements:
Execute test procedures, load various firmware (embedded firmware and will be trained on the tools), debug failures with senior engineers and report any and all issues found through out testing.
Circuit theory knowledge (for debugging boards/reading schematics), some software skills (scripting Python preferred or any scripting language their familiar with), OS knowledge (linux, windows)
3-5 years of experience in an Engineering Tech role.
