Looking for AWS $ Devops
Required Skills & Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ IT professional experience and performed Daily IT Operations previously (L1 and L2 support)
• Strong Knowledge in UNIX Shell scripting, Web Services, PL/SQL, AWS Fundamentals and DevOps tools - Jenkins, Git, Docker, Ansible and Kubectl
• Good expertise in using Splunk log indexing and creating metrics dashboard using tools like Splunk or Grafana or Power-BI
• Good understanding of Incident, Request, and change management process using Jira and/or ServiceNow,
• Experience in automation of repetitive application tasks using custom scripting or development.
• Good analytical ability, problem solving and debugging skills
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough review of Application architecture and capabilities of all IT software based on documentation provided by Technical Leads
• Coordinate with multiple teams to execute Business continuity and IT resiliency plans for different software
• Ensure high quality documentation, which may include -Business Requirements -Design Documents -User Manuals -Testing deliverables (Test Strategy/Plans/Test Cases) -Online documentation such as help files, user manuals
• Provide support/resolution to user requests and incidents through ticket management system as per the SLAs defined
• Monitor all alerts, provide resolutions, and escalate the issues as per the process defined.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders and prioritize issues as per Business need, assist in efficient resolution of all production processes and conduct RCA.
• Perform Administration activities as documented - User access controls, on-boarding new projects, create/update privileges, create/update Configurations, Deployments, etc.
• Perform Application maintenance activities - Start/Stop/Restart application, archiving , OS patching, etc.
• Perform Application installation, Configuration, and upgrade activities
• Develop automation scripts using Python or JavaScript with deployment orchestration using Ansible playbooks or Chef recipes to reduce Toil of manual repetitive operations
• Work during US Pacific time-zone and be available to participate in meetings between 8am PT to 8pm PT to interact with global IT Teams.
