Job Title: Electrical Validation Engineer
Location: Santa Clara, CA
1) Thorough knowledge of ECB’s, Strong hold on SMD’s, Buck-boost converters, SSDs, PMIC’s, ASIC’s, NANDs etc.,
2) Ability to extract information from large scale schematics & circuit diagrams using applications.
3) Highly experienced in using DCPA units, Current measurement units, Multimeters, Temperature Chambers, Soldering stations, handling digital probes.
4) Highly experienced in rework of SMD’s and o2-03 components, through-hole components etc.,
5) Setting up and conducting various Electrical tests on Semi conducting devices (these are few but not limited to CM test, PRS test, SPI test, I2C tests, XTAL tests, Electrical validation tests etc., )
6) Able to coordinate the packing , shipping, electronics according to company policies.
7) Maintain Inventory of lab units, test units & reporting as and when needed by management.
8) Highly experienced in Networking concepts, routing the Ethernet connections, maintaining IP’s , trouble shooting and fixing new connections.
9) Highly experienced in building Servers, computers from ground up, and then test, trouble shoot, fix any issues and install the necessary tools and software’s and maintain the track.
10) Highly experienced to set up, operate, debug, test Wide range of oscilloscopes (TeledyneLeCroy, Tektronix, KeySight technologies etc.,)
11) Ability to do custom rework jobs as and when needed (these include PCB’s, Breadboards, cables, Jacks etc., )
12) Experienced in trouble shooting software applications, testing, fixing and reporting the bugs.
13) Experienced to run custom tests on oscilloscopes , for conducting various test procedures and report the observations as needed.
14) Experienced in updating versions of licensed software’s following standard procedures.
15) Thorough understanding of digital signal processing & applications
16) Able to do physical work at times as and when needed while setting up Temp Chambers , inventory management, test setups etc.
