Remote - Dynamics 365 ERP Developer

 I have a new D365 F&O/AX Developer position with Allegion.  This is 100% remote; however, it will require that this person have a Green Card or be a USC.  .  This position will go through December 2024 at this point.

Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dynamics 365 ERP Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and delivery of enterprise-level solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform. The developer will play a key role in the customization, integration, and implementation of ERP solutions that support our business processes and requirements. They should be adept at leveraging the full capabilities of the Dynamics 365 ERP system to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and configure Dynamics 365 ERP custom extensions according to  business requirements.
• Create and maintain documentation related to Dynamics 365 ERP system configuration, customization, and integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business processes and translate them into system requirements.
• Perform debugging and unit testing of Microsoft Dynamics solutions, and integrations with AX
• Troubleshoot AX errors and other technical issues while working closely with DBAs and System Administrators
• Collaborate with in-house technical, functional, and end user team members, as well as third-party vendors.
• Implement and manage integrations between Dynamics 365 ERP and other business systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Provide technical support and guidance to business analysts, helping to resolve any issues with the ERP system.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Dynamics 365 updates and best practices to optimize system performance and functionality.
• Conduct unit testing and quality assurance activities to ensure the reliability and accuracy of the ERP system.
• Work closely with development leads, project managers and other team members to ensure successful project delivery within timelines and budget.
• Develop and implement user role security customizations as needed

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Dynamics 365 ERP developer, with a strong understanding of its modules such as Finance, Operations, and Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Strong experience with X++, C#, .NET, Visual Studio, and Azure DevOps.
• Proficient in SQL Server and data migration tools.
• Demonstrated experience with Dynamics 365 ERP integrations using OData, Common Data Service, and custom APIs.
• Experience working with D365 ISV solutions is a plus, (Avalara, Experlogix, etc)
• Familiarity with Lifecycle Services (LCS) and other Microsoft Dynamics 365 tools and technologies.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MB-300, MB-500) are highly desirable.
• 
  Additional Requirements:
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience developing with Dynamics 365 ERP.
• Experience in working with global teams and understanding of cross-cultural work environments.
• Willingness to stay current with new trends and developments in the ERP space.
