This project will be remote for the time being but will progress to on-site work once COVID-19 and Illinois shelter at home orders are expired. I’m including summary of the role below. We will only consider candidates that have had their current/last project and are currently located in Illinois, Wisconsin, Missouri, Indiana, Iowa, or Kentucky. There will be a strong preference for candidates who are working in and living in Illinois.
Title: Senior/Lead .NET Developer (Analyst level 5 for Caterpillar)
Required: Demonstrated and successful experience in message queue processing (like Rabbit MQ or similar technology, publish/subscribe patterns and multi-threading crucial. 7+ years of C#/
Bonus Skills: 3+ years Cloud experience Previous Azure Service Bus highly desired.
Any experience within .NET Core/Angular
Summary
Lead developer for Cat dealer/customer based cloud based application. Will work with lead architect to translate high level design into software components and then writing the code and leading junior offshore developers in doing the same.
Typical Day
Developing code for new enhancements, helping junior developers resolve support issues. Interacting with offshore and onshore development team. Working with business partners to define estimates for new functionality.
Education Requirements
4 year degree in computer science or other related IT degrees
Required Technical Skills
