Senior .Net DEVELOPER
12 Months Contract

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, unit testing Microsoft .Net business system and Javascript framework-based systems. This role will participate in the design, development and test phases of the application development lifecycle. This is a technical role which requires object-oriented programming skills, understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, .Net application architecture, ASP.Net, .Net Core, Sencha Ext JS, Angular JS, JQuery web application development, WCF/Web API Web Service experience, SOAP, C#, SOA, Visual Studio 2017 and SQL Server 2017. At least 8+ years of overall development experience.
Responsibilities include:
Develop, test, debug and document web based .Net components in accordance with system architecture requirements.
Apply industry standard object-oriented programming best practices and design patterns.
Develop and test WCF/Web API Services, core libraries and Utilities using C# and the .Net Framework.
Good understanding of latest design patterns
Work with the Tech lead/architect to resolve complex technical issues and understand system performance issues associated with the introduction of new technologies.
As a part of a project team, share technical and product knowledge with other team members.
Participate in technology/tools evaluation and software technical proof of concepts.
Provide mentorship and guidance to less senior developers.
Strong database experience
Qualifications and experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
8 plus years’ experience in a similar role in a mid-size to large corporate environment.
Property and Casualty insurance experience is a strong plus.
Skills and knowledge:
Experience developing in all tiers of the application (User Interface, Business, and Data
Strong Web API/WCF Service development experience
Familiarity with design patterns, software architecture concepts and web application security.
In-depth knowledge of UML.
Experience with Java script framework is plus Sencha Ext JS including Widgets, Layout Manager and Architect (tool and command line
Relational database programming skills optimized SQL and stored procedures.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Relational database technologies, SQL and stored procedures.
Visual Studio 2017, .Net Framework ¾
Good to have knowledge of C#, Web API, MQ, GIT, Team City, JIRA, Fiddler, Postman.
UML and Requirement Management Tools
