Duration : Long term Contract

Job Description Summary

  • Responsible for the analysis of and development for various services tier systems, using C# in an object-oriented Services Oriented Architecture environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Experience developing world class, Web applications.
  • Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Create technical design specifications and documentation.
  • Assist with defining development work plans.
  • Design, develop, & deploy application components.
  • Communicate development status and escalate issues to management.
  • Execute processes to ensure application integrity and availability.
  • May research alternative development methodologies and make recommendations for team improvement.

Requirements :

  • 10 years' experience in software design and development with strong fundamental knowledge of the SDLC.
  • Participates in defining and guidance of development coding standards.
  • Excellent communication (oral & written) and organizational skills, especially in regard to code analysis.
  • Strong understanding of .NET, C#, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, jQuery, Angular, React, Backbone, CSS and HTML5.
  • Angular experience is a must.
  • React experience is a plus.
  • Experience with high traffic, high volume web applications in a web farm a strong plus.
  • Knowledge of web services and SOAP.
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns.
  • Ability and desire to write object oriented, efficient and maintainable code.
  • Ability and desire to write solid unit test cases.
  • Ability & desire to work in dynamic team environment.
  • Ability & desire to drive technology forward.
  • Proven A+ ability as a trouble-shooter/problem solver.
  • Proven ability to deliver quality results on time with minimal supervision.
  • Skills, Abilities, Competencies.
  • 4+ years Microsoft .NET (C#).
  • 4+ years of ASP/ASP.NET.
  • 4+ years database programming with Microsoft SQL Server.
  • 4+ years of Object-oriented development technologies.
  • Microservices experience.
  • Web Services, WCF, RESTful.
