Skills Required:
Must have 5 years of experience in software implementation
Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development position, is preferred
Develop installation scripts using PowerShell
Implement stable, high quality, high performance applications
Debug, document and maintain complex programs
Working knowledge of server/database procedures
Working knowledge of source control (TFS)
Proficient with MS Word and MS Excel
Unit and integration testing and results validation
Experience supporting production applications
Experience working with the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Strong problem- determination skills and resolution experience.
Detail-oriented and thorough
High degree of self-motivation, commitment, integrity and a self-starter
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills
Excellent teamwork and communication skills (written and verbal)
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related analytical field or equivalent experience

Work Description:
Document requirements for POS service pack
Development installation package using PowerShell and Publix installation process
Unit test installation and release in stage environment
Participate in the certification rounds performed by the testing team
Work with testing team to resolve all defects founds in testing
Document the release materials to implement the service pack
Monitor the implementation of the release to all 1200+ locations
Check-in the package into Harvest or similar tool
Enhance base packages for efficiency
Lab defect research
Produce and fortify wikis for defect research and application documentation
Create and enhance the process for training people for package rollup
