Job Description:
The ideal candidate has mature .NET and development skills; is a proactive, confident and positive team member who enjoys working in a collaborative team environment; has experience with Scrum, Test Driven Development, and specifically Front end Javascript development.
The position is responsible for estimating, designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and implementing new programs or changes to existing programs in web and Windows based environment. Primary emphasis for this position is knowledge of C#, VB.Net, JavaScript, and Microsoft Visual Studio.
•Interpret business user requests and provide solutions that fit within corporate and development standards and goals
•Determine scope of projects, design appropriate solutions and prepare project estimates
•Participate as a member of a large team of developers
•Communicate with end users and technical staff to provide quality programs that are delivered on time.
•Scope, plan and manage all aspects of a project, such as development, quality control, design, implementation, training and delivery.
•Troubleshoot issues in existing or developed systems and work with the appropriate resources to resolve issues
•Provide documentation, project tracking and reporting status in both written and oral progress reports.
•Lead small projects as the acting project manager and effectively communicate with members, prospective members, other staff members, management and other leaders in our industry.
Education and Experience
•This ideal candidate must possess a minimum of a two-year degree in Information Systems, including technical studies or equivalent experience.
•Experience in Web development in a business environment is required.
•Experience in .NET development – C# and VB.NET
•Experience in Microsoft SQL Development
•Experience in Agile methodology
