Earliest Start Date: ASAP
Estimated Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Remote or Onsite: On location at the Client’s site
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Provide .NET software application support inclusive of designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications;
· Provide MS SQL database application support inclusive of data design/modeling, coding, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications;
· Provide SQL programming inclusive of stored procedures, functions, and views;
· Provide configuration management (using TFS) for software application objects;
· Provide change management in a code promotion role in partnership with development team;
· Develop and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications;
· Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results, and test status;
· Document all issues and assist in resolution;
· Facilitate collecting system requirements with the business program staff;
· Document user-defined requirements and the resulting application;
· Provide Technical Training (Knowledge Transfer), as required for Office of Information Technology Support Staff as related to software applications.
Requirements:
· Experience testing software applications including those for use on the Internet (2+ years);
· Experience working on enterprise-level software applications (2+ years);
· Experience planning tests, writing test cases/scripts, and executing test cases (2+ years);
· Experience documentation of systems to implement user-defined requirements (2+ years);
· Experience in the collection of system requirements from business program staff (2+ years);
· Experience with object-oriented programming concepts;
· Experience programming using databases (2+ years);
· A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related field of study. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis and additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis.
