Looking for a tech job that makes a difference? Our team at the Ohio Department of Transportation tackles tomorrow’s transportation challenges by building modern, innovative solutions at the forefront of transportation practice. To help take some of our projects to the next level, we are seeking a well-qualified full stack .NET Core/Angular developer (Programmer 4/PR4) consultant for 40 hours a week to develop and maintain public-facing and internal information systems and advanced data processing applications. In the process, you'll have an opportunity to work with nationally known transportation and IT experts to deliver projects that improve transportation for all Ohioans.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
4-year college degree or equivalent technical study with 5+ years professional experience within the last 9 years, or 7+ years professional experience within the last 9 years without a degree
Required Technologies:
- .NET Core, Entity Framework, C#
- Angular2 experience highly preferred
- HTML, CSS, modern Javascript (ES5+), Typescript, Bootstrap
- Proficient in SQL (Structured Query Language), with preference for familiarity with T-SQL and SQL Server
- Version control systems (TFS, Git)
- Experience designing and building RESTful APIs
- Python 3 experience or a willingness to learn is highly desired
