Position: .Net Architect
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Job Description:
• Collaborate with business units requesting systems changes to clarify and document business requirements and business process flows
• Partner with Architecture and Development teams to identify feasible solutions and Services that meet the business need
· Mentor the development teams on complex issues and help out in training issues
• Document requirements, use cases, architecture diagrams, and sequence diagrams
• Conduct user interviews, JAD sessions, and other forums to define and capture requirements and design of the solution
• Collaborate with technical architects, and development and testing teams to ensure that use cases and system requirements are understood and actionable
• Utilize requirements management tools to maintain traceability between requirements, design elements, and development work
• Present solutions to business requesters, technical architects, development and testing teams
• Make informed decisions and choices based upon priority, business necessity and bottom line impacts
• Assess work effort, provide timelines for completion of work and deliver within set expectations
• Analyze and plan Non-functional Requirements
• Work as a team player to work with a multiple scrum teams
Technical Skills
· Have hands-on experience in .NET Core (2.0 /5.0)
· Reviewing and debugging .NET applications
· Experience with GitHub and CouchBase
· Experience with CI-CD and tools like Jenkins/Concourse
Minimum Qualifications:
• College/University graduate or equivalent experience
• Minimum 3 years writing IT requirements experience in a complex work environment
• Minimum 5 years working in IT within Agile Scrum SDLC methodologies
• Proficiency in documenting Use Cases, Requirements, Activity Diagrams and Sequence Diagrams in a technical environment
• Experience conducting/participating in JAD/RAD/AGILE/Waterfall scrum sessions
• Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Advanced proficiency with use of Visual Studio, SQL Mgmt Studio, Microsoft Office applications, Visio, SOAPUI, Postman and other tools that facilitate the design and debugging
• Ability to work and deliver under the pressure of deadlines and commitments to the customer
• Demonstrates professionalism in all areas of work
• Demonstrates superior verbal and written communications skills
• Proficient at time management and meeting deadlines and flexible with changing priorities
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
• BA/BS or Associate degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in cable and/or telecommunications
• Experience writing code as a software developer
