Pay Range: $25 - $34/hour.  Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management of the Document Control system. (Control documentation companywide: Maintain a list of controlled documents with document control numbers, master list, revision history, ensure uniformity of formatting, version control, deployment of controlled documentation, disposition of proprietary documents)
  • Ensuring compliance with accreditation and State/Federal quality requirements.
  • Maintain quality system controls to ensure state of compliance.
  • Take appropriate steps to reduce wastages and losses in the process and build improved efficiency.
  • Ensure Document Control is available and active in first response to document related quality issues.
  • Monitor all Document Control activities and documentation cells throughout the site.
  • Manage record archives for all Alfred and SharePoint functions.
  • Execute the initiation, processing, routing, distribution and archiving of all documentation in a compliant manner.
  • Assist in the implementation and management of all electronic systems for document and training management.
  • Perform documentation review.
  • Assist in developing applicable Standard Operating Procedures governing Quality Management Systems.
  • Responsible for support of and coordination with all cross functional teams within the site for documentation related needs.
  • Support regulatory inspections and audits.
  • Ensure all documents are easily retrievable.
  • Assist in implementing information systems for managing document tracking, controlled document distribution (issuance) and records management.
  • Conduct training for documentation control and quality processes as needed or assigned.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • the ability to quickly learn the organization’s production processes.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 regulatory standards
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferably in manufacturing industry.
  • Analytical, problem solving and critical thinking skills, as well as written and oral communication skills.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality of confidential records.
  • Associate degree preferred.
  • Knowledge or willingness to gain knowledge of the internal and external requirements including ISO 9001, IATF16949 standards and customer requirements.
  • Two years of related experience in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
