Director of Treasury
Memphis, TN (onsite 3 days per week)

Position based at National Executive Office in Memphis, TN

As a Key member of the Finance Team, the Director of Treasury will manage all aspects of Treasury Operations, including ~$2B in cash annually, ~$1.2B in working capital including short-term investing, $1.8B of annual transfers to the hospital, and mange the Credit Card/FinTec operations team. While leading a team of treasury professionals, included is developing cash pooling strategies, cost optimization, revenue support via credit card operations, facilitating the internal banking process/administration, crypto currency operational management, reporting, and business partnering with internal partners such as Finance, Legal, Marketing, and IT.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all core treasury functions, including banking management, cash forecasting, and liquidity management. Leverage technical expertise and deep understanding of treasury concepts to support strategic initiatives in partnership with the Treasurer.
Oversee the credit card operations team, driving process improvements, reconciliation impact assessments, and operational excellence. Act as a strategic business partner and financial steward of donor contributions.
Direct cross-functional initiatives to enhance charge processing operations and procedures, informed by audits, data analysis, and industry best practices. Align changes with organizational needs and evolving technologies.
Develop and recommend KPIs for all donation channels and settlement methods (e.g., credit cards, fintech, banking). Translate business needs into actionable insights through visual analytics to identify trends and optimize performance.
Manage relationships with external banking partners, overseeing a network of ~40 banks and ~120 accounts. Ensure regulatory compliance, efficient operations, and proper authorization of signatories.
Administer cash pooling and sweep strategies, monitor bank account balances, forecast cash needs, manage working capital, and execute $1.8B in inter-entity transfers.
Optimize the organization's banking structure by leading initiatives to support emerging payment methods, including cryptocurrency, cash apps, wire transfers, and online platforms.
Collaborate with IT, Legal, and Accounting/Tax teams to establish and maintain policies and procedures for domestic and international cash management, bank documentation, and signatory controls.
Position Requirements
Proven experience in cash forecasting and treasury management principles.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
Hands-on experience with SQL coding for data querying and analysis.
Skilled in creating dashboard visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly to both internal and external stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 6 years of relevant professional experience.
Preferred qualifications include a Master?s degree, CPA, or CTP certification.
