Title: Direct Client – Sr. IT Project Manager ( Financial Planning Transformation Project )
Duration: 12+ months
Location: 100% Remote Ok ( Seattle, WA/PST Hrs ) however prefer Local Seattle candidates

Years experience:
The selected candidate will be responsible for the successful end-to-end management of strategic initiatives that span finance, accounting, and operations. This position contributes to Starbucks success by working with Corporate Technology teams across the Finance and Accounting Enterprise to deliver complex business systems initiatives.
Technology requirements?:
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite including Visio with expert skills in MS Project and Excel required
- Experience Microsoft TEAMs, Confluence, SmartSheets, and JIRA a plus
Degree or certifications required?:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Management preferred.
- PMP, PgMP, and Scrum Master Certifications are a plus.
Required background? Skills?:
- 10+ years in successful technology project delivery in large complex organizations
- Expert Knowledge and experience in all project delivery methodologies, e.g., Agile/SCRUM, SAFE 4+, Hybrid, Predictive (waterfall)
- Manage assigned projects against cross-program portfolio dependencies
- Works independently, with limited day-to-day guidance from senior program management leadership
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent oral and written communications to deliver crisp, concise presentations and status reports

Daily Responsibilities:
· Drives complex, cross-functional enterprise projects, leading multiple efforts simultaneously
· Leads high-performing, cross-functional, often globally distributed teams comprised of project/program management, Analysts, Engineers and Developers, Product Owners, Scrum masters, etc.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Knowledge of FP&A best practices preferred
- Experience with financial planning systems is preferred
