Job Description:
The Digital Strategy Lead Engineer will play a central role in defining, planning, and executing digital transformation and technology modernization initiatives. This position requires an experienced engineering leader who can align technical solutions with business goals, drive innovation, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready digital capabilities. The role involves collaborating with executive leadership, stakeholders, product managers, and engineering teams to craft technology roadmaps, evaluate platforms, and deliver successful strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of digital technology strategies supporting enterprise transformation initiatives.

  • Work closely with leadership and business stakeholders to translate strategic objectives into technical and architectural plans.

  • Drive evaluation, selection, and implementation of modern digital platforms, tools, and technologies.

  • Oversee end-to-end solution design and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and best practices.

  • Build and guide engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-performance solutions across digital channels.

  • Identify opportunities for automation, innovation, process improvement, and technology modernization.

  • Provide technical leadership throughout project lifecycle, including architecture, implementation, and quality assurance.

  • Define and maintain digital technology roadmaps and long-term platform evolution strategy.

  • Ensure digital solutions meet requirements for security, compliance, reliability, and performance.

  • Manage vendor partnerships, platform integrations, and technology evaluations.

  • Monitor technology trends and emerging solutions to recommend improvements and competitive advantages.

  • Prepare and present strategy and technical proposals to senior management and executive groups.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).

  • 12+ years of experience in digital technology engineering, enterprise solutions, or digital transformation leadership.

  • Proven experience designing and delivering digital platforms, web technologies, cloud solutions, or enterprise-level systems.

  • Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), API architecture, microservices, and modern DevOps practices.

  • Demonstrated expertise in defining digital roadmaps and leading enterprise-scale modernization initiatives.

  • Solid understanding of digital experience platforms, automation technologies, and integration frameworks.

  • Experience leading cross-functional engineering and architecture teams in complex delivery environments.

  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving capabilities.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Experience working with Agile or hybrid project methodologies.
