Role -Digital Product Manager
Key Requirements
7+ years of experience playing the role of Product manager. 10+ years of experience in the IT industry.
3 to 5 years' experience working with Energy & Utility clients. Understanding of E&U domain areas including transmission & distribution, customer experience, field force management etc.
Experience working within an Agile environment
Proven experience of managing relationships and contracts with a range of partners and suppliers
Exceptional communication skills, particularly to communicate technical solutions and their benefits, limits and risks in accessible language to stakeholders with varying technical understanding
Role Description
To set the vision and roll out of product strategies across customer, field force and digital programs for a utility company. Partner with business owners and agile product teams to build product roadmaps that will be incorporated into the broader company product portfolio plan. Oversee and manage lead requirements discovery, solution design, user story writing, feature development, and user acceptance testing.
Key Responsibilities
Work to gain an understanding of needs (from Product owner) and priorities, including differences that may exist among current areas
Enable Product owner and technical architect to build a vision and roadmap
Partner with cross functional teams regularly to ensure alignment on feature development and prioritization
Partner with IT to manage the roadmap and backlog to ensure that IT delivers all capabilities on time and per expectation
Monitor and evaluate product performance to ensure constant product iteration and improvements
Organize data and findings to provide detail and summary reporting of analysis via a variety of programs, including Microsoft excel, tableau, PowerPoint.
Maintain a clear-cut, methodical approach to examine data in a timely and detailed manner in preparation for discussion in strategy meetings and daily event discussions.
Ideal candidate will be an effective communicator and must possess strong oral and written communication skills. Prior experience working with Energy & Utility companies is preferred.
