Job Description :
The Client is looking to hire a Sr. DevSecOps Engineer specializing in test automation for its Research & Development team.
Duties and responsibilities:
  • Designs and implements solutions for CST, ensuring they align with business requirements, industry best practices, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to understand their needs and translates them into technical requirements.
  • Collaborates with other teams to ensure high-quality code and releases and assist teams in automating tests for various applications and components, including API, web, and mobile.
  • Evaluates existing systems and infrastructures to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Develops and maintains test automation frameworks, tools, and scripts to support CST applications.
Technical Requirements:
  • Expertise in DevSecOps principles, tools, and technologies including: CAST, Jenkins, SonarQube, NexusIQ, Nexus Repository Manager, RedHat Client, etc.
  • In-depth knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience designing, developing and building enterprise continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
  • Proficient with SDLC methodologies and tools, including agile, scrum, and SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework)
  • Experience with software development and infrastructure management
  • Experience creating automated test solutions and integrating them with CI/CD
  • Proficient in writing automated test cases and utilizing testing tools (Gauge, Selenium, etc.)
  • Experience designing automated deployment solutions, integrating them with CI/CD, and utilizing deployment tools (Ansible, OpenShift, Mulesoft, Liquibase, etc.)
  • 8+ years' experience with several programming languages (C#, Java, Python, C++, Groovy, etc.)
  • 8+ years' experience in one or more scripting languages (Bash, PowerShell)
  • Experience working with various version control systems (Gitlab, Github, Git)
  • Experience capturing reporting metrics and building dashboards to display metrics in real-time
  • Extensive experience in implementing DevSecOps practices in large-scale projects
  • Ability to provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams
  • Hands-on experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift) and container security best practices.

Preferred Experience:
  • Experience creating policies and standardizations around CI/CD and DevSecOps
  • Experience developing and implementing a DevSecOps Maturity Model
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Ability to translate business needs from leadership into technical requirements
  • CAST Certified
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
  • Must have a security clearance- Secret or Top Secret
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Experience working in Agile scrum team environment is highly desired
  • Experience with JIRA and other Atlassian tools is desired but not required
  • Microsoft certifications in applicable and related areas preferred
