Here is the tech stack/skills in a DevOps lead (100% hands on Individual contributor)
DevOps
· Sound Knowledge on Servers, Private and public cloud infrastructure (mainly on AWS)
· Good understanding of DevOps tools and processes
· Working knowledge of CI/CD pipeline, build and deployment process, Jenkins as a build and deployment vehicle
· Strong understanding of UNIX and Windows OS as a DevOps lead and as an Infrastructure SME
· Security architecture in a small/medium scale business enterprise, SSL, applying/renewing certs to variety of server environments when needed
· Working knowledge of ETL Design & Architecture, mainly leveraging Pentaho as an ETL pipeline
· Working knowledge of Python scripting language, PHP and other commonly used scripting languages
· Strong understanding of databases, data pipelines, API endpoints to connect data repositories with any standard Datawarehouse ecosystem (Redshift experience is preferred)
· Working knowledge of GitHub source code management system
· Working knowledge of AWS ecosystem, provisioning and management of EC2, RDS instances, keeping up their monthly usage against established budget and forecasting for the future quarters/years.
· Being able to quickly come up to speed with a new AWS capability to be integrated into our existing environment and help launch new capabilities when needs arise.
Infrastructure
· Cabling and setting up racks for server and network hardware
· Administration, Upgrades, Maintenance, and solution architecture of all infrastructure devices
· Improving the overall SDWAN infrastructure utilizing the features QOS, TCP optimization
· Plan, design, and document SD-WAN architecture
· Respond, troubleshoot, identify root cause, and remediate issues
· Familiar with SD-WAN solution architecture
· Performance analysis and capacity planning for network circuits and devices.
· Provide necessary network infrastructure support to support business continuity.
· Maintain WAN/LAN/Data center equipment
· Extensive knowledge and experience with all aspects of edge networks and WAN architectures, including protocols such as BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and strategies such as capacity planning, routing policies and SDWAN
