Experience:
8 to 10 years overall IT Experience and 5+ years in DevOps
Summary: Looking for strong DevOps engineer who has immense exposure in the DevOps tools.
Should be able to challenge and drive things on own.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you need to bring in process changes, automation in CI/CD space.
You will be in charge of the new project features including automation aspects.
Requirements / Responsibilities
Expertise in effective relationship management and good communication skills.
Experience working in a global team.
Experience in Unix / Linux environments.
Define and deploy DevOps tools and Processes /Best Practices.
Deep understanding of DevOps tools and technologies like GitHub, Drone / Jenkins for CI, Spinnaker for Continuous Delivery, Nomad Scheduler, Kubernetes, AWS or Google Cloud Platform
Hands-on experience with envisioning, designing, building and managing release systems, code merging and promotion, and CI/CD workflows and tools.
Work with technical team to build and manage DevOps platform
Good understanding of database concepts and NoSQL.
Working knowledge of Cassandra is desirable.
Good knowledge of Kafka, Kotlin with Ratpack framework
Hands-on experience in scripting / tooling automation with CI tools like Drone / Jenkins.
Must have experience in using GitHub / Bitbucket etc.
Very good knowledge in troubleshooting the technical issues
Performance Tuning
Present the technical solutions to the teams for review
Sense of ownership, Critical thinker and possess problem-solving skills
Education: University degree in Information Systems or comparable education, experience or equivalent.
Primary Technical Skills: Kubernetes, NoSQL (Cassandra or any other Kafka, any cloud platform (preferably Google Cloud), Drone / Jenkins for CI. GitHub
Desirable Skills: Kotlin, Ratpack, HAProxy, Fastly CDN, Nomad
