Position Description: FHS Global R&D Software organization is looking for a DevOps person to manage the SaaS applications and deployments. Responsibilities include Help with DevOps transformation to define adoption plan with short/medium/long term goals and develop the business case for change Design DevOps reference architecture and blueprints to implement continuous exploration, continuous integration, continuous deployment, continuous testing, continuous monitoring and release automation solutions across different products / applications / technologies / domains. Define Target Operating model for DevOps adoption Work with the various teams to understand their DevOps needs, identify best practices and tools relevant to the products and technologies involved. Provide technical leadership and guidance w.r.t. DevOps adoption Advise product leadership and teams on how to translate current engineering, infrastructure and automation requirements into executable DevOps technology solutions Conduct maturity assessment to improve engineering excellence Implement and maintain DevOps toolchains for both centralized and federated DevOps Coach the team to ensure adoption. Coaches engineering teams on the new Ways of Working. Conduct training workshops on CI-CD/DevOps and related roles to clients, internal teams and other stakeholders Candidate Requirement Should have a development background in .Net/Python/Modern stacks Early adopter who has several years of programming experience and is comfortable with a variety of virtualization technologies, Windows/Linux and other environments. Has previous experience in data center infrastructure and is knowledgeable about the public cloud environment and the services provided by leading providers (AWS, Azure and GCP) Must be focused on the application and regards infrastructure as resource to be used with minimal administrative overhead. Spends most of time deploying and updating code in development, testing and production environments ? strongly believes they should be identical. Must have good experience in CI-CD or DevOps tools implementation and hands-on experience in one of the following stacks - Open Source / Atlassian / Microsoft/AWS tool Stack. Hands on experience in implementing DevOps pipeline for different types of applications is a must. Any CI-CD, DevOps or cloud related certification is an added advantage Should be able to coach engineering teams on best practices of Agile and DevOps in the industry Should understand Lean thinking and should be able to do value analysis through VSM. Ability to design and implement strategies towards organization change during DevOps transformation Exposure to cloud infrastructure like containers, Kubernetes, AWS Cloud Services Personal Attributes Passionate on DevOps and change management (from traditional infrastructure management) Should be a strategic thinker.
