Job Title: DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for various projects.
  • Manage and scale containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of systems.
  • Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot production systems, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Automate routine tasks and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize development workflows.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in DevOps and containerization.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a focus on Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong understanding of containerization technologies, including Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Experience with containerization management tools such as Docker Compose.
  • Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and experience with tools like Terraform.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Certification in Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of security best practices for containerized environments.
  • Familiarity with microservices architecture.
