Job Description :

DevOps Engineer (AWS)

Location: Mountain View, CA

Duration:6-12 Months

Qualifications

Must have qualifications:

o Computer Science degree with 6-8 years of industry experience.

o 3+ years of managing Amazon Web Services (CloudFormation, EC2, S3, ELB, ASG, etc is required, as well as a solid understanding of the different services AWS provides.

o Experience with code repositories (Git), continuous integration tools (e.g. Jenkins, Maven or Gradle)

o Experience with container systems (Docker) and container orchestration (e.g. EC2 Container Service, Kubernetes

o Strong professional experience automating AWS configuration, build and deployments using Ansible, CloudFormation, OpsWorks or other equivalents

o Experience designing and maintaining reliable, high-availability production systems and services.

o Strong scripting skills in one or more of: Shell, Perl, Python, Ruby, GO

o Troubleshooting and system administration exposure in UNIX/RHEL production environments. With strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, HTTP, DNS, SSL/TLS, load balancing, etc

o Monitoring automation; make sure that the correct monitors are deployed at the application level so that any failures can be quickly detected and repaire
