Overview:
As a DevOps Automation Engineer for a large federal health insurance company, you will support the transition to a more component based deployment architecture. The successful candidate would have the ability to co-lead our team into this new technology set.
As a DevOps Automation Engineer, You Will:
· Work with the Architecture, Development groups, and Operations to establish standards, best practices and automation infrastructure solutions
· Setup and maintain private Docker registry
· Establish systems to monitor the operating efficiency of container infrastructure and applications
· Configure deployment Automation of microservices from private Docker repository to Swarm/Kubernetes cluster
To Be Successful, You Need:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent is required
Experience with cloud implementation
· Hands-on development of enterprise applications using Agile and DevOps methodologies
· Proficient in knowledge of technologies and processes like Agile Software Delivery, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery, DevOps, Cloud Native Technologies including Docker Containers and Kubernetes, and Deployment Automation & Orchestration
· Experience in Swarm/Kubernetes orchestration for Docker Containers
· Experience working with Continuous Delivery and Integration implementation of a microservice architecture
· Experience in building business solutions in microservice and cloud native architecture pattern
· Experience with version control systems such as Git and SVN
· Experience on developing different applications using Java, J2EE, Spring, OpenJPA
· Experience Linux scripting languages
· Experience with Jenkins or similar continuous integration platform
