DevOps Architect/Engineer - Security

MUST-HAVE:
* Hands-on Cloud Security Experience within AWS
* Experience with code linting and write clean and readable code
* Development experience - Terraform, Sentinel, Python and/or NodeJS and AWS Lambda
* DevOps/DevSecOps and Data Engineering experience is a big plus
Job Description:
Being one of the fastest growing Cloud Solutions and Services company supporting Global Enterprise customers; we are seeking a DevOps Architect - Security and DevOps Engineer.
Hands-on and consultative professionals who can support a rapidly growing mid-market Banking client to enable our customers Journey to AWS Cloud.
Employee should work with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Security, Information Security, DevOps, and Enterprise Application establishing frameworks for designing solutions that will exist in AWS IaaS and PaaS environments and integrating SaaS Solutions.
The employees will be focused on a large back-log of AWS tickets enabling the clients engineering team to focus on proactive project work.
You will be expected to independently handle tickets, document solutions, and be able to transfer knowledge as required.
* Extensive knowledge and experience with the following:
* AWS Security control development
* Development experience - Terraform, Sentinel, Python and/or NodeJS and AWS Lambda
* IAM policies and development
* AWS organizations
* Guardrails development using AWS Config
* Experience with code linting and write clean and readable code
* Working knowledge of the following AWS services to start with and should be able to resource and develop controls for other AWS services as needed
* Amazon RDS
* Core Networking / VPC
* Route 53
* Elastic Load Balancing
* AWS Lambda
* Amazon Sagemaker
* Amazon EKS
* Amazon ECR
* Amazon Glue
* Elastic Map Reduce
Expectations
* For Each AWS service, identify control objectives and the guardrails/controls to be implemented prior to usage. In addition, identify the approach to automate these controls when possible. The controls may be directive (i.e., Policy), detective (either through automated monitoring or sample-checking), or preventative (often referred to as guardrails)
* For AWS service, perform the following, to create mechanisms to enable developers to incorporate automated security controls, to consume in-scope AWS services in a self-service manner:
* Define: Based on the outcomes of the "Review" phase, define the required security controls and guardrails
* Design: Design detailed implementation requirements (What -security control; How -Cloud Watch Events, Config, Custom Lambda; When -triggered, recurring)
* Develop: Develop the controls and guardrails; Unit tests and Functionality testing scripts
* Review: Code review; Unit test; AWS Spec test; Functionality testing; integration testing
* Promote: Assist with the deployment of the guardrails developed into higher non-prod environments
* Provide the developed controls for review
* Qualifications:
* Certification in AWS
* 5+ years of experience of implementing AWS cloud solutions
* Deep analytical skills
* Deep planning and organizational skills
* Excellent interpersonal skills, including collaboration, facilitation, and negotiation
* US based and able to pass a background check
