Position: DevOps Architect
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6 Months
Mandatory Skills:
Should possess experience in implementing DevOps methodology in ALM/TFS tools.
Must have experience in Azure DevOps, ALM and TFS [features like reporting, requirement management, automated builds, lab management, etc.] tools. . Should possess the strong knowledge of CM responsibilities in ALM, TFS, Azure DevOps.
Job Description:
10+ years of demonstrated experience managing associated professionals and functions.
Have at least "2-4 " years of work experience in government or industry establishing, managing, and/or leading tool-based configuration management processes and practices for baselining traditional and Agile based efforts
to include DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD
Must have broad level of knowledge of the Product/Application Lifecycle and Configuration Management domains.
Should possess the strong knowledge of CM responsibilities in ALM, TFS, Azure DevOps.
Must have experience in management configuration programs to ensure that all proposed and actual changes to program technology and documentation are properly staffed, approved, and tracked.
Demonstrated hands-on experience in Software Configuration and change management processes and implementation across different environments (Dev,QA, Prod)
Have knowledge/experience in other devops tools like Jenkins, Maven, Docker.
Should have the knowledge in versioning control.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
Lead the development and implementation of Configuration and Data Management standards, processes, systems and tools.
Responsible for writing the CM Plan and reporting progress statistics based on change requests.
Supports the product development activity so that developers and integrators have appropriate workspaces to build and test their work, and so
that all artifacts are available for inclusion in the deployment unit as required.
Has to ensure that the CM environment facilitates product review, and change and defect tracking activities.
Must facilitate the change Notification process used for updating product.
Must ensure notification of performing organizations or project teams of change activity.
Provide design and implementation guidance and tutoring as necessary to team members in best practices, tool use, and quality assurance
Note: need Architects with strong hands on experience on Azure but not AWS
