Job Title: Device Test Engineer
Location: Atlanta, GA (Onsite)
Job Description
" 7+ YOE, Device Test Engineer in lab setup .
" Experienced in performing regression, functional, automation and UAT testing in a major OEM or Tier 1 US wireless carrier s test organization.
" Experienced in DSDS (Dual SIM Dual Standby) testing scenarios with CBRS spectrum and switching between home network and MVNO network
" Experienced on 4G/5G performance KPIs to evaluate the device and network performance
" Experienced in addressing issues and testing device fixes provided by OEM or internal teams, with a focus in UI/UX, IMS stack, OS, and modem level technical issues.
" Experience in using tools like IRIS, Splunk, TrueCall, T-Insights, Netscout, QXDM or other device logging software.
" Knowledge of android and iOS development.
" Good understanding and experience in software script development in industry-used programming languages such as Python and SQL, and software builds, patching and revision management.
" Good understanding of IT/security/VPN environment in a lab setting.
" Experience is use of ~~Perfecto~~ cloud-based testing platform.
" Experience with protocol analyzers, test tools such as XCAL, QXDM, Wireshark, Channel Emulator, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators is beneficial
" Must have: understanding of 3GPP systems - Core and RAN networks
" Must have: 4G/5G LTE Call Processing and in-depth knowledge of RRC, S1-MME, S1-U and X2 protocols
" Good to have: understanding of concepts such as Hybrid Beamforming, Massive MIMO, New Waveforms, LTE-NR interworking & co-existence, 5G Numerologies, etc.
" Must have: experience with product testing, development of Test Plan and Test Cases
