Geek Squad Services provides technologies supporting the in-store and repair site agents responsible for providing the Geek Squad service products.
Project Description:
We are currently going through a modernization effort with a multi-year plan to modernize the platform by strangling a legacy monolithic platform. The project will rely heavily on the cloud and cloud native techniques to provide a scalable, efficient platform for future enhancements.
Position Summary/Job Description:
These roles will contribute by building knowledge of existing capabilities and using that knowledge to help the team build the modern capabilities.
How much time will the resource spend pair programming?
Little to none, but a skill we want to grow.

What are the top five skills and number of years of experience required to perform this job?
- Knowledge of front-end build tools such as webpack, npm, yarn, etc. – 5+ years
- React and TDD w/ jest and/or react testing – 2+ years
- GraphQL, nodejs and REST for backend integrations – 2+ years
- Javascript/CSS(prefer SAAS/LESS)/HTML using design systems – 1+ years
- GitHub or similar modern, trunk-based source control platforms
