The Senior Developer BI has overall responsibility for design, development and implementation of dashboard, and self-service enabled reports. Responsible for design and storage of data in the database. Support visualization environment using schema objects, metadata, reports, templates and dashboards using MicroStrategy. . Manage configuration and deployment of customized MicroStrategy/Tableau and/or PowerBI Mobile Apps for Enterprise Distribution.

Technical Skills:

The Senior Developer BI Visualization has overall responsibility for design, development and implementation of dashboards, and self-service enabled reports.
Responsible for design and storage of data in the database. Support Visualization environments on MicroStrategy/Tableau and/or Power BI using schema objects, metadata, reports, templates, and dashboards.
Demonstrated competency in all phases of business intelligence and data warehousing projects, from inception to production deployment
Solid understanding of data warehousing principles, concepts and best practices (e.g. ODS, Data Marts, Staging)
Must be able to work effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
Understanding of data modeling principles for data warehousing (Normalization and Star Schema)
Knowledge of business requirements definition and documentation
Manage configuration and deployment of customized Mobile Apps for Enterprise Distribution.
Responsibility:
- Lead project planning sessions to analyze business requirements and provide input to proposed solutions
- Lead joint application development sessions and develop solutions using Agile methodologies
- Develop/Maintain BI cubes, documents, queries, applications, dashboards, visual insight, Scorecard and standard reports
- Exclusive knowledge in creating and integrating Microstrategy/Tableau and/or PowerBI reports and objects (Attributes, Filters, Facts, Prompts, Templates, Consolidation and Custom Groups)
- Ability to work on the schema design, creating various calculated metrics, advanced thresholds, tuning, caching, s, report subscription, report bursting and report optimization
- Provide user training on tool usage and reporting
