Job Description :
We are looking for a Design Thinking Strategist who has experience bringing together various parties to design a solution and has the versatility and enthusiasm to take on new problems.

Individuals will apply Design Thinking principles including:

Planning Design Thinking workshops and activities Facilitating Design Thinking workshops and activities such as persona building, empathy mapping, journey mapping, etc.
Identifying and conducting pre-workshop research Coordinating and managing post-workshop artifact and prototype production
Synthesizing post-workshop recommendations
Coordinating iterative prototype review/testing, including vetting with clients and customers
Delivery and presentation of workshop results and prototypes to clients
Researching best practices and identifying gaps in the Design Thinking practice Conducting and aggregating user research to provide recommendations to clients/customers
Identifying opportunities to collaborate across different business units to design a solution
Note: You must be comfortable working in a team setting and regularly facilitating design thinking workshops. UX work will consist of rapid prototyping and kicking off solutions but will have less emphasis on building final, high fidelity prototypes.

In this role, you will serve as the primary design consultant and central point-of-contact for the creative team, partners, and decision-makers.

Lead the design team in the collaborative development of multi-channel communications.
Demonstrate technical expertise to research and develop ideas and strategies from all media channels (e.g., print, digital, multimedia, etc to envision systemic design solutions that benefit the overall client experience.
Accept accountability for the overall implementation of visual experience for the assigned book of business.
Maintain advanced knowledge of all Lighthouse programs, businesses, and offerings.
Cultivate an advanced understanding of design within our client environment and the industry, including both new- and existing-media delivery channels.
Actively contribute to brand management design initiatives.
Influences and supports the development of new design standards and helps maintain existing standards across the department.
Propose and promote graphic-consistency, -standards, and -accuracy for both custom and company-branded communications.
Demonstrate the ability to effectively manage a large number of highly complex projects with multiple clients simultaneously.
Work with design manager, peers, and other teams to ensure department productivity by providing functional support when needed.
Demonstrate dedication to process perfection and individual performance and development.
Lead and/or participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Strategic Responsibilities:

Develop problem-framing approaches, establishing new starting points that lead to new kinds of solutions, which affects strategic thinking, not just execution.
Lead the solution of undefined problem spaces (e.g. “How can we reconsider how people look for and purchase items) Storytelling and persuasion techniques build trust with partners and establish long-term relationships; comfortable communicating at all levels of the organization; demonstrates confidence and charisma.
Use an understanding of impact and success metrics to focus their team''s efforts; Emerging understanding of broader organizational context and goals; Connects team''s efforts with a savvy grasp of the ecosystem and organizational context;
Develop an ability to articulate a vision.
Tactical Responsibilities:

Sit at the workflow level and lead user experience, interaction design, and user research efforts.
Responsible for defining a style guide, pattern library, standards for applications, and interactions within the group.
Assist with determining scope, as well as validating assumptions made when identifying solutions.
Coordinate with designers at the product level (if available) on the execution of product vision, as well as co-create with the workflow owners on new product opportunities.
