Looking for a Design History File contractor to help our Remediation team.
The work experience will be 100% on site at our facility in Murray, UT.
They will be part of a cross-functional team made up of both contractors
and employees tasked with comprehensive remediation of production
processes. The work is fast paced and engaging, and a positive
collaborative attitude will be rewarded by a challenging but fun work
experience.
*General Function*
Provide strong engineering skill.
Perform assigned product development activities. Set priorities for
self and contribute to team planning.
Develop an assessment of competitive products, processes or new trends.
Develop an overview of relevant technologies and products.
Ensure compliance with quality policies, procedures, and practices
through appropriate communication, training, and education of sound quality
assurance principles.
*Project Responsibilities:*
Product development: Plan, implement, monitor and deliver designated
tasks and deliverables. Responsible for solving technical problems.
Accountable for success of assigned tasks and deliverables. Participate in
periodic design reviews of projects.
Process effectiveness: Ensure appropriate processes are followed for
effective and timely engagement of related parties in completion of
designated project activities.
Innovation: Develop creative and novel solutions to technical problems.
Customer focus: Develop understanding of customer needs and processes to
ensure relevant and innovative product development solutions.
Continuous learning: Actively seek training to improve skills. Ensure
technical lessons are reviewed, learned, and disseminated. Actively
promote learning.

*Desired Qualifications*
Developing technical skills, interpersonal skills, influence skills, and
technical judgement. Has good communication skills, team oriented and
developing skills in project planning and leadership. Developing
understanding of disciplined product development processes, regulatory and
quality requirements. Results driven and action oriented. Has undergraduate
degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 3 to 5 years of
experience in engineering preferably in the medical device industry. Also
has competence with SolidWorks.
