Job Description:
The mainframe DBA job involves managing, maintaining, and securing all mainframe databases to ensure data integrity, availability, and performance. Key duties include database installation, configuration, capacity planning, performance monitoring, implementing backups and recovery procedures, and ensuring robust security measures. DBA’s also collaborate with other departments such as application teams and other system groups to meet data requirements and troubleshoot any technical database issues.
