Role :Database (Data Vault) Architect Location: Minneapolis, MN ( Can start remotely. After Covid crisis, willing to relocate Minneapolis Duration: 12 Months Job Description: Looking for a Database Architect who has experience with data architecture and technologies. This person should have a development background, and passionate about working in the data space. Under minimal direction, works across multiple project teams, translates business requirements into data design specifications. A Data Architect works with developers to implement the design specification into appropriate database technologies. Depending on skill-level, the data architect may also develop code. Devises or modifies complex design problems into simple solutions. Design activities include data modeling, data analysis, database design, and ETL design. This person must have strong communication skills, work well in a team environment, and have strong personal responsibility for their work. The Data Architect will work with a high performing team and will work on variety of projects designing solutions that use WhereScape, Data Vault 2.0, Dimensional Modeling, SQL Server, Workload Automation (Scheduling tool), Oracle, Informatica Power Center, SSIS, SSRS, and Golden Gate. This person should be familiar with the standard development lifecycle and able to work in either waterfall or agile.
