IDEALFORCE has a Contract position available immediately for a Database Architect to join our customer in Salt Lake City, UT. This is an ONSITE position. JOB SUMMARY:

Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) and is responsible for analyzing, designing and testing new databases to support business applications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor''s degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, or other closely related field, plus six (6) years of directly related database development experience in a similar environment, size, and scope, OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.

Collaborate with different roles as it appropriate to understand the business requirements.
Analyzing legacy system (DB2, VSAM) and design new databases (MS SQL) to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.
Collaborate with various teams to help migrate data from legacy system to newly designed database.
Test changes
