Public Sector/Healthcare Experience 5+ years of experience working with federal/provincial/broader public-sector healthcare providers Knowledge of Public Sector Enterprise Architecture artifacts (or similar), processes and practices Ability to produce technical documentation that comply with industry standard practices In-depth knowledge of industry standard such as Project Management Institute (PMI) Knowledge of Public Sector I&IT project management methodologies Knowledge and experience with Public Sector Health related projects Knowledge and understanding of Ministry policy and IT project approval processes and requirements Experience adopting and adhering to Public Sector Unified I&IT Project Methodology, Public Sector Enterprise Architecture and Public Sector Gating process, and Public Sector Standard Systems Development Methodologies Experience with large complex IT Health-related projects. 5% Technical Skills 10+ years of experience in the following: Database administration using Oracle technologies and products, including Oracle /12c/18c/19C, Oracle RAC, RMAN backup/recovery, Data Compression and encryption, Oracle Data Guard, Oracle GoldenGate and Oracle EM Experience in complex BI/DW solution design, implementation, maintenance, and support, using Oracle 12c/18C/19C, Oracle Directory Server, Informatica PowerCenter & Data Quality, IBM Cognos, Business Objects in a Sun Solaris/RedHat environment Superior technical expertise in: enterprise data warehouse database configuration, optimization and tuning, support and maintenance with Oracle database in a Sun Solaris environment for complex Business Intelligence/Data Warehouse (BI/DW) solutions, Bi-Directional Data Replication for Active-Active Solution Crossing Data Centers, and multi-tier web-based off-the-shelf solutions tools, including Oracle technologies & products (Oracle Database, Active Data Guard, GoldenGate, etc Cognos, Informatica PowerCenter & Data Quality Experience with Cognos, BO, Informatica and LDAP servers HPE Shadowbase experience would be an asset. 30% Core Skills, Knowledge and Experience 10+ years of experience in the following: Administering and supporting and troubleshooting server/system issues related to Cognos, BO, Informatica, LDAP and Oracle DBs Experience with physical database designs, operation and administration of database management system (DBMS), including database optimization, performance tuning, backup and recovery, partitioning, compression, and security Developing and maintaining data design models, database schemas and scripts, technical documentation and specifications Providing build books/deployment guides for the deployment to higher environments Experience with database setup, migration, tuning capacity planning, and data conversion in a large operation with multiple environments Maintaining data design models, database schemas and scripts, technical documentation and specifications Providing specialized technical expertise in database administration, data warehouse design, data modeling, Extraction, Transformation & Load (ETL), information management, BI solution design, development and maintenance Monitoring and enforcing database rules Providing Database (Oracle technologies & products) expertise for troubleshooting, problem resolution and performance tuning of the production solutions in operation Providing professional opinions and recommendations for technical issues, management, briefings, etc., and provide expertise, offer solutions and lead implementation of approved recommendations Coordinating with Oracle support, Informatica support and Cognos support in opening tickets and providing information to find solutions and root cause analysis of ongoing issues Experience with one or more operating systems, database technologies, communication protocols, and programming languages Producing project plans for database management activities Experience with middleware, gateways and reporting systems Experience in Incident, Change and Configuration Management procedures Experience with use of information retrieval packages and proficiency with query languages. 25% General Skills
