Experience troubleshooting Oracle 10g or higher database performance and other related issues (e.g., working with other teams to identify if the issue is at the storage, network, database, or application tier).
Experience working with developers to suggest modifications which could improve the performance of their SQL (e.g., avoiding cartesian products, suggesting indexes, etc).
Experience installing, upgrading, and patching Oracle 10g or higher Database software in a Unix-like environment (e.g. AIX) using Maximum Availability Architecture (MAA). This must include all of: Oracle RAC, ASM and Data Guard.
Experience using RMAN for backup and recovery of Oracle databases in MAA environment.
experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager Cloud Control 13 or higher.
Experience investigating, gathering diagnostic data for, and reporting to Oracle Support Services any critical database errors.
Experience with Oracle 10g or higher GoldenGate.
Oracle 10g or higher Certified Professional (OCP) certification.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related field.
