Details:
Seeing 2 Senior Programmers, with experience in the field of IT systems development and implementation, specializing in Data Warehouse implementation, report writing, and database development to support the Enterprise Data Warehouse team in meeting customer and business needs. The qualified Programmers will be responsible for supporting current implementation of Data Warehouse, while providing design, development, configuration, testing, deployment, support, maintenance, and knowledge transfer activities related to new implementation of an Enterprise Data Warehouse.
Will perform the following tasks and provide documentation:
Design and build Modern Data Pipelines and Data Streams
Develop and maintain data warehouse schematics, layouts, architectures and relational/non- relational databases for data access and Advanced Analytics
Creating Star, Snowflake and Galaxy Schema data models, performing ETLs and validating results with business representatives
Expose data to end users using Power BI, Azure Application Programming Interface (API) Apps or other modern visualization platform or experience
Develop technical architecture, design and implementation of data platforms and business analytics solutions to empower the stakeholders to solve their data driven analytics and reporting needs
Supporting implemented BI solutions by monitoring and tuning queries and data loads, addressing user questions concerning data integrity, monitoring performance and communicating functional and technical issues
Implement effective metrics and monitoring processes
Submit written status reports in Microsoft (MS) Word format
Perform "knowledge transfer" to existing team
Must have seven (7) or more years of experience in electronic data processing systems study, design, and programming. At least four (4) years of that experience must have been in a lead capacity.
Mandatory Skills:
Experience in working with stakeholders and implementing end-to-end data solutions including data models, data pipelines and BI products to solve complex business requirements
Experience in designing and implementing Data Warehouse architectures, Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) technologies, Star-schema, Snowflake schema and Aggregation techniques
Experience in maintaining the Data Warehouse structure to support the software development life cycle (SDLC) phases
Experience in traditional Data Warehousing/ETL tools
Experience with Data Warehouse concepts and architecture
Experience producing requirements documents, systems architecture and interfaces, data model diagrams, configuration management documents, and procedural manuals
Desirable Skills:
Two (2) or more years experience using a variety of cloud platforms (Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure or Google Platform)
Two (2) or more years experience in the use of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure SQL, and Azure App Service
Two (2) or more years experience in supporting enterprise solutions within a health care and/or correctional environment
Two (2) or more years experience in a coaching/mentoring role
Two (2) or more years experience with organizational change management
Two (2) or more years experience with Oracle database development/administration
Two (2) or more years experience in developing/administering PowerBI
Experience completing a data warehouse implementation through an entire Software Development Life Cycle
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in an IT- related or Engineering field.
