Apex Systems has an opening for Data Security Administrator for a Large Hospitality company in Chicago for a 12-24 -month contract plus extensions.

Client seeks an experienced Data Security Admin who will be an exceptional addition to our growing Data Platform Architecture team. The Data Security Admin will work closely with data engineering, data product managers and data science teams to meet data requirements of various initiatives in Client.
We are seeking an experienced Data Security Administrator (Snowflake, AWS) to work with our engineering team to develop, implement, optimize, and maintain access management solutions. Provide appropriate access to users, applications, systems, and data with advanced authentication.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:
4+ years of experience within the field of Access Management, Cloud security administration.
2+ years of experience in AWS, Snowflake
Understand enterprise level application architecture diagrams and IT security requirements.
Snowflake security (Create and Maintain roles, maintain users, assign user permissions, Create and apply policies, remove access based on tickets)
AWS Security tasks (Create and Maintain user roles, application internal roles in IAM, policies, Secrets for applications and maintain policies, assign user permissions, Create and apply policies etc.)
Understands Active Directory concepts, including users, computers, groups, policies
Engineering and implementation of security technologies centric to Privileged Access security solutions.
Experience in Identity & Access Management (IAM) platform solutions is a must
Ensure critical global Privileged Access Management service meets key service and security objectives, by maintaining sustainable and effective service and security monitoring, investigation and remediation of service and security issues.
Develop and support assurance activities for effective management of privileged access.
Day-to-day activities include working on security vulnerability remediation.
Perform administration activities in accordance with security standards to ensure that passwords are accessible to appropriately authorized users only.
Provide out of hours support and change delivery for IAM service.
Administer password rotations, password malfunctions, account creations, account changes, accounts integrations, maintaining/creating new safes, and security policies.
Performs vault/safe/platform Administration Projects
Experience with IAM Operational tasks - Creating Safes, Defining Access Control, Policies/Platforms, User provisioning and entitlements, Managing Applications Credentials, Auto-upload and User Access Policy Management.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize, execute tasks and meet deadlines.
Promptly responding to all security incidents and providing thorough post-event analyses
Deliver technical reports and log analysis.
Use encryption to protect data at rest and in transit
Passionate about programming and learning new technologies.
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently, with minimal direction.
Requires self-motivated approach to work with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
BA or BS degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff.
Advance CS degree is a plus
