Title: Data Scientist / Machine learning
Location: Rockville, MD
Duration : 3+ years contract

1. Do you have at least 1 or 2 real implementation of ML (Full life Cycle) experience please explain
2. Do you have working knowledge with Data Cleansing / Developing Model / ML Explain ability / Productionalizing model – Model drift/decay etc. Please explain your experience and responsibilities.
3. Are you willing to work within QA function to validate items? Do you have experience in the past?
4. What is your Math / Statistics background ? Have you developed or managed Algorithm in the past? Please explain your experience.
5. Do you have experience coding or programming in any programming language? If yes please explain experience level. Do you have experience/knowledge in Scala / Java? If yes what level?
6. How many years of experience you have in ML?

We are looking for a Data Scientist that will help us client the information hidden in vast amounts of structured and unstructured data, and help us make smarter decisions to solve business problems. The primary focus is in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality prediction systems integrated with our solutions.

Responsibilities:
Enhancing data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytic systems
Processing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis
Define approaches for data mining
Extending company''s data with third party sources of information when needed
Doing ad-hoc analysis and R&D involving operating heterogeneous data sets
Creating automated anomaly detection systems and constant tracking of its performance

Skills and Qualifications:
PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics or other related fields -preferred
Real world experience of solving business problems using machine learning, data mining, data analysis
Data-oriented personality
Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
Experience with common data science toolkits (such as R, Weka, NumPy, MatLab, etc
Great communication skills
Experience with data visualization tools
Good applied statistics skills, such as distributions, statistical testing, regression, etc.

Additional Skills and Experience:
Experience with data visualization tools, such as D3.js, GGplot, etc.
Decision Trees and Neural Networks
Big data visualization/analytics skills as below, Processing and summarizing big data for effective visualization Data navigation and interactive models using large datasets and classic visual representations. Approaches for visualization of multi-dimensional and interconnected data Scaling interactive visual models for big data and machine learning analytics, Effective data reduction methods and techniques for big data
