Responsibilities:

Design and build innovative data analytics solutions, from discovery to delivery, for Finance, Sales Commission and Global Work Space teams and Influence decision making.Assess opportunities within the following: Credit Risk, Collections, Cash Applications, Case Management, Sales Commissions, Global Work Space, and analyze current business performance and build statistical models to extrapolate current and historical trends into forward-looking forecasts.

Translate business problems to an analytics solution, recommending and applying the most appropriate models/methods to yield insights and results.

Responsible for the collection, cleansing and data wrangling and to process the data using most appropriately aligning ML model.

Responsible for breaking down business problems into statistical and machine learning problems. Monitor forecasts and benchmark performance internally and externally while understanding the sources of deviation.

Lead sessions and meetings to drive analytics roadmap, long-term strategy with quarterly milestones and outlook.

Engage with business teams to find opportunities, understand requirements, and translate those requirements into technical solutions with a design data science approach, applying tried-and-true techniques or developing custom algorithms as needed by the business problem.

Collaborate with data engineers and platform architects to implement robust production real-time and batch decisioning solutions.


Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor''''''''s degree in Data Science, Statistics or related field.

6+ years of industry experience in statistical data analysis (such as regression, distributions, clustering, classification, linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic models, and sampling methods

6+ years of experience in data science life cycle including business understanding, data mining, data cleansing, data exploration, feature engineering, predictive modeling, and data visualization in Finance and Sales Commission.

6+ years of experience in descriptive analytics, business intelligence and reporting.

Experience designing and building statistical forecasting models.

6+ years of hands-on experience working with statistical packages (such as R, Python, MAT LAB, SPSS, SAS, stata, SQL

5+ years'''''''' experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms (such as k-means, k-NN, - Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, HMM, Neural nets, Deep learning

4+ years of experience in Finance, Sales Commission, Global Workplace business strategy.

Experience with Credit, Collection, Sales Commission and other Finance business processes.

Experience with relational databases, including SQL, and large-scale distributed systems such as Hadoop and Spark.

Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design and patterns.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience presenting insights to senior management on a regular basis

Expertise in applied statistics and in at least one statistical software package, preferably R & Python
