We are looking for a hands-on Data Scientist with a start-up mindset that wants to join a dynamic team that is disrupting the healthcare industry.
You will use your extensive analytical experience in building analytical models and reporting framework for deriving actionable insights from the collected data.
The Data Scientist will be working very closely with our engineering and business stakeholders for delivering visualizations and scientific models in order to improve member experience, identify fraud, and optimize the marketing spend.

Specific role requirements:
Willingness and ability to work in a startup environment
Experience in building visualizations and dashboards in Tableau (or equivalent Business Intelligence tool)
Experience in using mathematics, statistics, modeling, business analysis, and technology to transform high volumes of complex data into advanced analytic solutions
Experience in developing, maintaining, and collecting structured and unstructured datasets for analysis and reporting
Experience with identifying Fraud, Waste, and Abuse with healthcare
Strong data modeling skills (relational, dimensional and flattened) and analytical SQL skills for ingesting and retrieving data from MPP databases such as Snowflake or Redshift
Proven expertise with analytical technologies, applications and languages such as Python, R, SQL etc
Experience with machine learning, NLP, text analytics or similar advanced data science capabilities
Experience applying various data science techniques such as: Forecasting, Recommendation Systems, A/B Testing, Logistics Optimization, Churn Analysis, Segmentation Analysis, and Deep Learning
Experience building machine learning models
Knowledge of Jupyter and other machine learning tools
Experience integrating data from multiple data sources and file types such as JSON, XMS, CSV and non-traditional data structures
Experience with Embedded Analytics
Experience in microservice architecture and developing AI-driven microservices for application consumption
Deep knowledge of various publicly available data sources (government, open-source APIs etc and experience in linking them
Knowledge of attribution implementation (data-driven/multitouch), applications of customer lifetime value
High attention to detail
Has strong interpersonal communication skills; effectively communicates in verbal and written form
Responsibilities:
This role will be responsible for reporting, attribution and customer lifetime value across multiple channels, like SEM, TV and OTT advertising, to drive short and long-term revenue and profitability
Provide the organization with ad hoc reporting, analysis, and data visualization support as needed to support day-to-day activities
Apply a broad range of analytical approaches, from back-of-envelope approximations, to what-if scenarios, to deep dives, uncovering patterns in order to identify trends and new opportunities
Partner with member care and operations teams to understand user acquisition, engagement, satisfaction, etc
Participate in peer code reviews and be comfortable in writing high quality documentation about their work
Bonus points for experience with:
Architected secure, scalable, cloud-based solutions that are HIPAA and/or PCI compliant
Knowledge working with GIT or any other version control system.
Experience working in a fast paced/startup environment
Understanding of Tableau server architecture and maintenance
Master’s or Bachelor''s in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a similar quantitative field
