Position: Data Pipeline Engineer/Data Engineer Location: Denver,CO (Currently remote) Duration: 1+ Year Long Project (possibility to extend/convert) Experience:- 8+ years Remote: Onsite will not be required at this time, but the expectation is to be onsite once things get better When normal 1-2 days remote Top Skills: Scala or strong Java experience Spark or Flink Experience with distributed cluster systems Kafka, Hive, Kinesis, Cassandra, ElasticSearch, or Dynamo Interview Process: 30 minute phone interview 1-1.5 hour video interview Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics or related field Related Work Experience Number of Years Designing and building Scala or Java applications 2 to 4 Designing and building data pipelines 1 to2 Designing and building cloud native applications 1 to 2 Database tools experience such as Hive, HUE, Sqoop, Pig etc. 2 to 4 Git source control management experience 1+ Linux operating system experience 2 to 4 Requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation 2 to 4 Take Care.
