iZeal, Inc is currently seeking an Data Engineer for our client's requirement. The salary depends on experience.

Duration :: 12+Months

Location :: VA, FL

Role: Data Engineer

Type :: W2

 

 
JOB DUTIES:
  • Candidate will be responsible for building end to end data pipelines and data harmonization components to enable insight generation for executive and channels to take proactive action on time.
  • Design, develop, and implement software based on requirements.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the support team for code deployment.
  • Collaborate with team members to follow process, procedures, and data security.
  • Knowledge on Jenkins, Jira, Git etc.
  • Diligently teaming with the infrastructure, network, database, application and business intelligence teams to guarantee high data quality and availability.

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

  • 7 Years Hands of experience on Big Data Utilities, must have extensive knowledge Bigdata Technology
  • Minimum 5 years on Linux or Unix developing process & shell scripts. Experience in UNIX is a must.
  • Minimum 7 years on DML Operation & SQL
  • Hands on with Teradata, SQL Server and SQL (Structured Query Language).
  • General operational expertise such as good troubleshooting skills, understanding of systems capacity, bottlenecks, data anomalies.
  • Experience in Design and build of the infrastructure for data extraction, preparation, and loading of data from a variety of sources using technology such as Non -SQL and Big data.
  • Experience in Building data and analytics tools that will offer deeper insight into the pipeline, allowing for critical discoveries surrounding key performance indicators and customer activity
  • Must be agile for greater efficiency across all of our company data systems.
  • Experience in Analyzing large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
  • Able to work under minimal supervision. High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor/Masters degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or related field
  • Skilled in core data structures and algorithms and implements them using appropriate chosen language
  • The ability to analyze, model and interpret data.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • A methodical and logical approach.
  • The ability to plan work and meet deadlines
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
