Key qualifications:
- A working understanding with experience of OSI 7layer (1-4) Model focus related to Networking Infrastructure support within an operations environment.
- Technically Self-reliant within Project Work Drivers and provided supporting knowledge and written documentation.
- Provide CISCO and CCNA Certifications, Juniper or proven equivalent work experience.
Primary Responsibilities:
The primary goal of maintenance driven work is to execute tasks defined by the respective technical team.
- Work as a member of 24X7 Life Cycle Management (LCM) to deliver network related technical support during deployment of network infrastructure. This can be to deliver an expansion, augmentation or maintenance of existing sites, on various Networks.
- Provides the technical troubleshooting and leadership to recover complex network problems in real time to restore service.
- Working with Tier support groups to resolve issues, identify root cause and potential work around options.
- Test & implement vendor provided fixes/design recommendations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
1) Responsible for the management of the interoperability between Cisco and Juniper Layer 3 Platform, through the use of alarm and ticket systems, individual designed customized scripts, customer notification, and Business Partner escalations.
2) Responsible for deploying new routers, switches, and trunk capacity as well as configuring them.
3) Responsibilities include providing real time in-depth analysis and real time trouble resolution of incidents associated with the CISCO, Juniper, and associated Operations Support Systems, and Data Communications Network Technology platforms.
