Role: Data Engineer Manager Location: Start role remotely and when COVID policies subside must be able to sit onsite in Richmond, VA Length: Long term contract Compensation: Highly competitive and negotiable based on experience Benefits: Overview provided upon request Data Engineer Manager Overview: As a Data Engineer Manager you will be responsible for peer reviews as well as performing hands on coding/engineering utilizing the following technologies: Spark, Python, and AWS. You will be consuming data sets- published via Kafka. Consuming data from AWS S3 buckets. Building micro services as well as any centralized infrastructure. Data Engineer Manager Requirements: Professional experience in enterprise level Banking/Finance industry. Experience working as hands on Data Engineer with AWS, Spark, Python. Experience in leadership or managerial role. Experience working with Big Data environments. Understanding data quality/architecture. Experience working in DevOps environments.
